I like blackhawk inside the pants holster. Serpa is nice too if you can conceal it. I suggest getting a gen 4 because it has less parts and is really simple. If you want a gen 3 then go get one. I recommend saving up alittle more because you can't go wrong with a SIG or HK. A usp compact or p2000 is reliable past 20,000 rounds and mine hasn't failed in over 3,000! Glocks are really easy to clear a jam but what about buying a gun that just doesn't jam?=D I got my first HK for $500 cash. I suggest you go used and do the same if money is a problem. Compact is way better then full size or subcompact as far as I'm concerned because it fits the hand and can be concealed if necessary while not compromising much.

I think there are different subsets of what is called "depression". Some are caused by a person's subconscious or even conscious; some forms are due to diseases; and some forms are due to a combination of the two and genetics and a problem with the rewards, pleasure pathway in the brain. It's my belief that all currently FDA approved medications act only as placebos, accept maybe for a select few individuals that may have experienced a traumatic episode in their lives. I believe, for people that have been suffering from symptoms of depression, and chronic fatigue, and felt "off" all their life their is a genetic problem. Also, the drugs available to treat such "biological" depression (though I don't think it can be considered depression if it is biological or medical) is woefully impotent. We have the FDA not approving any drugs that actually are shown to relieve "depression"- especially in the 40-50% of of depressive patients that get no relief from the current "placebo" antidepressants-because they act to quickly and thus are deemed "addicting". The only thing the FDA will improve, and the pharmaceutical companies will pursue, are long acting drugs, that really have no effect except for the placebo effect. As someone that fits somewhere in these categories, I can attest I have never felt any benefit from every category of antidepressant when on it for weeks! Nothing. I can not believe that these drugs are even approved. The pharmaceutical companies, research bio-psychiatrists and all scientists involved in mental health have no concrete clue as to how the current so called antidepressants work (which I believe they don't), because they have not been able to measure quantified regions of the brain consistent with depression and subsequent improvement as related to these medications. Psychiatrists are a joke for people with a biological problem causing the depression or total body and brain loss of certain characteristics. The current research on antidepressants, is all by accident, coincidental. A certain drug designed for something else, happens to cause a lift in mood for a small subset of patients. Therefore it must be an antidepressant!....The serotonin theory pushed by some, has no basis at all, with regard to antidepressants. To prove this, they are several drugs approved to treat depression that actually reduce serotonin! Personally, I'd rather take the chances of living as a so called addicted person, with feelings, emotions, and contribution to society than suffer decades due to our government rulings and propaganda by psychiatrists and pharmaceutical companies.

My Fiancée and I both went to a Verizon Wireless store to get Android phones and a contract. We set everything up and the women at the setting up everything for us kept telling us our bill would be around $160-$170 a month. So we took the phones home and we called Verizon couple times just to make sure that our bill would be that much, and the over the phone representatives told us that it would be a lot higher. So I went back to the store and asked the same woman a few days later, if I could return the phones, and she said yes you have 14 days to return the phones after starting the plan, and that we would only have to pay a $30 restocking fee, but then she asked why I wanted to return the phones, and I said it is too much money for me and my fiancé right now (the price Verizon was telling us over the phone.) So she said they don't know what they are talking about and that it should be what she said. So I said ok and I went home, on the 12th day I received the first bill which was for $380, and found out our bill for our plan which is 1400 minutes, two data plans, and unlimited text, would be about $280 a month. My fiancée and I went back to the store and on the 13th day and tried to return the phones. The same woman said you are too late, that it was past the 14 days, and when I started telling her she told me I had until the 14th day, she made up another excuse saying our phones were damaged when they weren’t at all, we never dropped them or anything, when we first got the phones she dropped one of them once. So if their was any marks, they were by the hands of her, and they gave us an extremely hard time and threaten to call security on us, to get us out of the store. After the painful night, we have been in communication with Verizon Wireless on the phone for almost a month, and they have not been able to help us at all and a few of the customer supports reps were rude to my fiancée who recently has a baby, emotionally depressed where she can't finish her college work or try and find a job right now I feel she could still have Postpartum depression that has been triggered by Verizon entrapment. Due to this whole situation which is hurting our family. Do we have lawsuit against Verizon Wireless? All we really want is to get out of their deceiving contract.

Treating an OCD depression???? Please help!?

My mother has suffered from depression twice in her life and she is going through it for the third time. She was recently diagnosed with OCD, as well as being in a depression. She is obsessed with cleaning. At home, she can clean and do as she pleases. Cleaning wherever and whenever. However, she has recently gone to stay at her mother's residence nearby where she not able to clean as much as she pleases. She is able to rest a bit more comfortably. However, every so often she gets an 'attack' of the symptoms and becomes restless, sometimes lasting for days. She is unable to sleep and becomes rather unsettled and weak. Here is my question: Would her recovery be hastened is she were at home, doing as she pleases, or at my grandmother's, where she unable to do what she wants and is in a constant reminder and challenged by her obsession?

I know the first thing people are going to probably want to say is talk to a doctor. Well I'm a female Navy Veteran and the VA doctors already evaluated me but I'm not sure if they did correctly. I was only in for 2 years before I was medically discharged after developing an anxiety disorder. I was raped once before joining the Navy and once after (no I didn't report either because I didn't want to draw attention to myself) and also before the Navy I had an ex decide to play Russian roulette with me with a 9mm Beretta after he decided not to check the clip or chamber before pulling the trigger (luckily both were empty) so I have a couple of traumatic experiences, not to mention while on ship dealing with all the B.S. of ship life isn't easy. It's been 3 years now and I have been having nightmares all the time for the past 2 years about random stuff and when they are not nightmares they are dreams about being back on the ship and I don't really associate with people now I just kind of stick around my fiance and his family. Someone suggested that I might have PTSD even though I wasn't in combat zones. I don't believe I had it before I went in either because I was still very social about 6 months before I got discharged my attitude started changing and then about 4 months till I got discharged is when a started having an anxiety disorder that still effects me today that I get prescribed Ativan for. I did a PTSD evaluation through the VA mental health and at the time the doctor asked me if the rapes still effected me today as far as dating or meeting new people. I said no but I didn't think of it at the time, that I had been with my fiance for the past 3 years so I wouldn't have known if it affected any new relationships because I met him before I got discharged and I didn't think about the fact that I have a few friends because I don't share the same mentality with a lot of other 22 year old females my age. I've become more of an introverted person. So after giving some history about me and my situation I need a second opinion to if I could possibly have PTSD. Pimple with no head, very sore!!?

I've had a pimple on the side of my face for the past three or four days. It's gotten pretty big (thumbtack size) but it's all under the skin and hasn't come to a head. When I touch it it feels hard. The problem is that I wear glasses and the temple piece rubs against my pimple and makes it really sore. It's also hard to sleep on my side because it puts pressure on the pimple. I'm 35 today and it's hit me again like a thunderbolt, I think what triggered it was my birthday card..it looks line the rest, a generic card that doesn't say wife, not even partner or girlfriend! I would see if you can go see a doctor...if possible before the trip. If not you could take something to curb the anxiety. I take valerian root when I feel anxious. Valerian Root is an herb that calms you down. It has no side effects except maybe a little sleepiness, but not enough to make you a hazard or anything. Make sure you take 2 or 3 pills and drink a glass of water with it. Also you may benefit from taking something for nausea, ginger is really great for nausea. You can try crystallized ginger, which can be found in the spices section of your grocery store. Also they make really good ginger candy that can be found in organic stores. Most importantly though, see your doctor...even if the Valerian Root works. Make sure to take care of the underlying issue, whatever that might be. Hope everything works out for you!

Why am I getting a red ring of death on my Xbox360?

Why are people willing to remain ignorant about medical marijuana.?

I characterize myself as a honest person. My parents recently had to help me out with money which I now have a full time job and am paying them back. They told me to get the money I got from them I had to quit smoking pot. My cat has been electrocuted..what do I do?

I have reasons to believe my cat may have triggered a surge in my power strip. now most of the things on the power strip were off. But I left earlier that day and she was fine. I came home and she is twitching and trying ot back away from everything. Then she will stop and be fine. I have fed her water through a syringe and got her to eat. She even seemed hungry, but I had to feed her a peice at a time. Like she couldnt see it. When I got her today her eye was closed, but with some water I was able to open it. She hasn't walked yet. Just pushed herself backwards, away from things. Even while I try to hold her. I took this kitten to make sure it didn't get put to sleep. I can feed it and shelter it. But I can't afford a doctor for myself let alone my pet. Is there anything I can do for her? Anyone have something similar. I looked at her mouth and tounge and she was fine. No burns... but her ears do seem red a bit. I have no idea and just want to help my poor kitty.

Recently I took a trip to the doctors and had a bump on my shoulder checked out. I was told that it was a infected wart, and i was put on cefadroxil for about 9 days. when you said she has tantrums about 3 times a day I say she is spoiled and being popular at school makes her even worse. When she try's to beat you and your sister you must take control by gabbing her and forcing her down on something soft like a bed and say as calm as you can that you will not tolerate this and be as sweet as possible to her. If she try's kicking you and all after you do this then just walk away with your other sister and stay away from the one with the tantrum. This way she will calm down eventually. And if she gets mad about the food taking to long then finish that up and give it to her polity after she calms down. Eventually she will learn so don't be to worried.

I just purchased LG SmartTV add-on for my TV. I am noticing that when I click on something, occasionally there are popups, just like there would be if I were on my computer. What can i do to lessen my migraines?

Ive had migraines since i was in the third or fourth grade and i've gotten used to having them four or five times a week and being able to continue on with my day. I assume that they arent migraines that often but severe headaches...or maybe less severe migraines. Anyways, lately ive been getting the really bad ones where i honestly feel like could get absolutely no worse and just completely disables me...and over that past year ive been getting these bad ones more often than in the years before. Im headed off to college next month and i figure im going to be really stressed and not have time to deal with these migraines/headaches. ive gone to the doctor to see if there was some kind of trigger for me like stress or menstrual/horomone changes but there really is no pattern...i also kept a food log for months and there was still no pattern. Ive tried taking daily medication to prevent them but my body becomes immune to stuff extremely easily. I also have insomnia and ive read that irregular sleeping patterns contribute to migraines but ive also become immune to all the sleeping medicines ive tried, including kinds the doctor has prescribed. I have been taking microgestin 1/20 fe starting 2007. I got pregnant in 2009. After my baby was born I started taking it again last Aug. Ive.been on time but.for the.last couple months ive been having my period about 4 days early. With cramps & all. It sometimes only lasts a day or 2. Is it time for a different pill? Abnormal Bleeding! Help!?

I'm in my 20's and have been having abnormal bleeding for the past year. It's like a period but it comes way more often. It started around the same time I dried up from nursing my baby. At one point, it was constant, then it would come 2 weeks apart. I've been to several gynecologists. I've had multiple tests done. All came back normal. No one knows exactly what's wrong, except that it's some sort of hormonal imbalance! Duh! Doctor suggested birth control to reset the hormones but I don't want to use that. One doctor thought I needed progesterone, another thought I needed estrogen. The pharmaceutical progesterone (progestin) was awful. I had a terrible reaction to it. I took the natural progesterone cream for a few weeks and my bleeding actually slowed down. The, after a week and four days, it has come back. Btw, I also have hot flashes, headaches, nausea, exhaustion,cramps, back pain, mood swings, etc. I just wondered if anyone had some advice. Where do I go from here? Do I try estrogen?

Can eyesight be improved?

Today I went to the optometrist and he told me that eyesight cannot be improved; it will continue to worsen. I have horrible eyesight (-6.00) and this was clearly disappointing. Even if I had better eyesight, is it possible for it to get better? I'm only 16, and my eyesight has been declining rapidly; I'm not sure if it's genetics or if I'm doing something to hasten bad eyesight. Also, he told me that computers and reading in the dark does not have any effect on getting bad eyesight. True or false?

Craving cigarettes without ever smoking?

im 18 and for the past few months i have been craving cigarettes like crazy. its almost like i cant stop thinking about it but i have never smoked a cigarette in my life. i dont have any family members in my household that smoke either. what triggers my craving is when people smoke around me. at school there is a corner on the campus designated for smoking. i have to walk through that area to get to one class to another. i never heard about having a craving for a cigarette without ever trying one first. can someone explain to me the reason for this? :( and what should i do? i am almost ready to purchase an electronic cigarette because i heard it is healthier for you than a regular cigarette.

I am 16 and I think I have an anxiety disorder?

Hi I'm currently an exchange student. I recently had a hyperthyroid attack and I'm here in CO in high altitude. I took medication for it and it worked and I became better. But a few days ago, I got very bored staying here at the house and I feel weird that there's no school anymore. Then lately I'm having a hard time sleeping and I'm always afraid of dying or being crazy. Like I'm becoming paranoid, I feel like everything around me is weird and that danger is close by, like every time I ride in a car I feel like were gonna have an accident. And I'm becoming more aware and conscious about myself. And I frequently go to the bathroom. Maybe its anxiety, but I didn't tell anyone I'm feeling weird yet, especially my parents back home, because they might freak out, I'm having this huge US tour in 4 days and medical costs here in the US is so expensive. DOES MY 2 YEAR OLD HAVE AN ANXIETY DISORDER?

I have a 2 year and 9 month old little girl. She is the 3rd child of our 4 children my husband and I have together. Since she was around 1.5 everyone viewed her as increadibly intelligent, maybe even gifted as she talked in complete sentences, was very intelligent, and excelled in every area over other children her age. About 1 month before she turned to until now, she has begun being what my husband and I would call terrible 2's from hell. We attributed a lot of it to us having our 4th child at this time. However, as time has progressed, her behavior has gotten so bad, it literally dictates a lot of how the family acts and what we do. The normal temper tantrums have now appeared to become laced with anxiety, and they all depend on the mood she is in. Some days are great, others, are hell. Sometimes there are triggers, sometimes nothing appearently sets her off but she goes into hysterics over something yesterday would not have bothered her. The main things that seem to be the problem are when she can't get something exactly right it seems to upset her so much she appears to be physically in pain. For example, if she can not lay a baby doll the exact way she sees in her head to lay it, she is inconsoloble until we are able to figure out how to get it in that position. Also, sometimes noises bother her, or "shapes" she says things aren't the right shape, or she can't hear something when it's very loud, or says something is too loud when there is no noise (she does know the difference). When playing with other children for the most part she does well, however, when it comes to someone playing at our house, the child has to ask permission to come into our home and play. If they don't she gets very upset, and each toy, whether its hers or not, has to be given permission to play with. Please do not say it's a discipline problem, trust me it isn't the issue. We have tried everything and it doesn't work. When she gets upset, there is no consoling her until we can "fix" whatever is bothering her. I thought maybe she had a sensory disorder, but maybe it's anxiety. I don't know. My doctor told me it was normal, but it isn't. Trust me. I am a social worker for the state, I see kids her age every day, in good, bad, and worse situations and she is not normal. So any help would be great. Thanks.
