Pimple with no head, very sore!!?

I've had a pimple on the side of my face for the past three or four days. It's gotten pretty big (thumbtack size) but it's all under the skin and hasn't come to a head. When I touch it it feels hard. The problem is that I wear glasses and the temple piece rubs against my pimple and makes it really sore. It's also hard to sleep on my side because it puts pressure on the pimple. Is there any way I can alleviate the swelling or hasten the healing process for this thing? It's gotten really annoying!
