I cant get a girlfriend, even tho they all think im cute?

ok so im 17 and girls liked me before but i kinda didnt pull the trigger. so ever since i been wanna date i havent had any luck. all girls i know think that im really cute but they dnt wanna date. i dont really understand this. i have a lot of friends, and im cool with everybody. i play bball, im not a loser in skool. im real confident, kinda cocky, and im funny and i always make them laugh. wen a girl that i like comes around i get kinda shy and stuff but its not like i go mute, i just tune it down a little. im 5 6, lieghtweight muscles, kinda on the skinny side, idk what the problem is, thanks in advance
