I have a wart on my shoulder, treatment?

Recently I took a trip to the doctors and had a bump on my shoulder checked out. I was told that it was a infected wart, and i was put on cefadroxil for about 9 days. I will be going to a pharmaceutical surgeon to remove it. I guess I'm kinda freaked out merely because the word surgeon is in the term. What I'm asking is, since the wart is infected will I have to get it removed surgically or will they just freeze it off like any other wart?
