Opinions on my short story?

Terribly sad and devastating, but extremely well written. Your vocabulary is phenomenal as well as your writing style. The voice could use some work though. It seemed very informative. A great base off the Hunger Games. I truly felt it could have been a side story in the novels. All in all, it was fantastically tragic. Brrravvvo! :)
