Is suicide ever justifiable?

I am by NO means suicidal, me and my friend just had a really interesting debate topic while we were bored. Can you think of any justifiable suicides? When is it NOT justifiable? Personally I think if I were terminally ill and didn't want to put my family through years of torture, I would run away and pull the trigger....any comments?
