Spouse missing on Frontierville!!?

I did all the quests, even the last one which was pop the question. after i got the sign that i had finished the quest, i got a letter saying that he was on his way. it has been like 2 months now, and that slow poke still hasten gotten to my homestead!?! any ideas how i can get him?
