Would I have a case if I wanted to sue a company that made a prescription?

I took a birth control pill for a year and it really screwed me up! I was nearly admitted to a psych hospital for nearly attempting suicide. It messed with my head and I had to take two weeks off of work for medical leave because of it. I do have psychiatric issues though. I have issues with anxiety. But my psychiatrist said he saw a change in my around the time I started taking the birth control. Would I have a case against the pharmaceutical company?
