Did he block me on aim express?

When I logged onto aim express, its the one on the browser with no client needed, I couldnt aim one of my friend's name. Like usually it has a couple options to see lifestream or aim but for this time all I could choose was move groups. however when I checked back an hour later I did have the option to aim and see lifestream and everything. My question is did this person block me during that period? Or was it some sort of glitch. The weird part was that this was a person I had not really talked to for a long time so I didnt really do anything to trigger this sort of action..
