3yr old with asthma........................…

My son is 4 now and he has had asthma attacks for 2 years now and hospitalized twice. Same symptoms as your kiddo. I was told benedryl helps. I use it and they also tell me to give him plenty fluids because usually asthmatics don't get enough fluids. Always pay close attention to your child's breathing and if you think he's having trouble don't wait to get help. Go ASAP because it can get bad quick. A home nebulizer machine is good to have. Keep away from strong scented stuff. Keep out of smoke. When we barbeque outside I have to change my clothes and shower right after because of the Smell. Just pay close attention because all asthmatics triggers can be different and avoid what triggers it. Imagine someone sitting on your chest while you are trying so desperately to breath. I used to smoke but quit because of my sons asthma. I never smoked around him but the smell stays on clothes hands hair and everything around. I hope this helps a Little. And I really hope you kiddo grows out of it. Its a terrible thing for kids to go through
