Why are people opposed to marijuana but not opposed to alcohol,tobacco, pharmaceutical drugs?

I think most people against marijuana don't have any knowledge about marijuana, american history, the government, industries and corruption. I could be wrong. Can someone who is against marijuana and supportive of legal drugs (alcohol, tobacco, pills) give me an explanation of their view point.
